AI Video Generator started with a simple frustration: every “best AI video generator” list looked the same, and none of them said clearly what the free plans could actually do. So we built the site we wanted to read — one that tests every tool with real accounts, labels every free tier honestly, and refreshes the rankings every month.

We are a small, independent team. We pay for the plans we test, run the same prompts across every tool, and publish the scores even when they disappoint. If a tool is great, we say so; if it is overhyped, we say that too.

Found an error? Disagree with a ranking? Built something cool with one of these tools? We read every message — corrections get fixed fast, and your feedback decides what we test next.
